Eli Egert
Eli oversees full-cycle accounting and monthly financial reporting for Vida's real estate portfolio, ensuring that reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with U.S. GAAP as well as the day-to-day operations of the properties themselves. Beyond the close cycle, he leads budgeting, reforecasting, and cash flow management, translating property-level performance into forward-looking analysis that supports investment decisions and capital allocation across the portfolio — always with the goal of driving long-term value for stakeholders.
Eli joined Vida from KPMG, where he worked in assurance within the firm's Asset Management practice, specializing in hedge funds and private equity. There he developed deep technical expertise in U.S. GAAP reporting, complex valuation, risk assessment, and internal controls. Earlier in his career, he provided financial and accounting consulting to VC-backed startups at KongBasileConsulting, helping founders and finance teams build out their reporting functions. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Bachelor’s from SUNY Empire State, where he graduated summa cum laude.
