James Mohr

James Mohr serves as the Senior Director of Construction and Maintenance at Vida Management, bringing over 15 years of nationwide expertise in real estate acquisitions, multi-regional portfolio oversight, and large-scale capital project execution.

Prior to joining Vida Management, James spent over seven years as the Director of Construction and Acquisitions at The Beitel Group in Brooklyn, New York. In this leadership role, he spearheaded strategic asset additions and directed complex construction initiatives, aligning capital improvements with overall portfolio growth across major urban markets.

Earlier in his career, James served as National Project Manager for The ValCap Group in Dallas, Texas, where he oversaw broad asset enhancement strategies. His foundation in large-scale regional operations was established during a near-decade tenure at VTT Management Co. in Framingham, Massachusetts. As Regional Construction Project Manager, he held direct capital project responsibility for expansive multi-family and commercial portfolios spanning New England, the Midwest, and North Carolina.

Throughout his career, James has built a strong reputation for combining deal-level acquisition insight with hands-on construction oversight—driving operational efficiency, controlling project costs, and maximizing property value.
